Seychelles – Luxury with Budget – My 8-Day Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Mahé & Transfer to Praslin
- 1 PM: Arrive in Mahé, Seychelles.
- Take a domestic flight (small plane) to Praslin.
- Check-in at Hotel: La Voi del mare.
- View Sunset at Property – one of the world’s most beautiful beach or at Anse georgette.
- Dinner: Le Paradisier (vegetarian options available).
Day 2: Praslin –
- Visit cote d’or beach.
- and then Take a boat trip to Curieuse Island (~€30) to see giant tortoises and explore the mangrove trails.
- Visit Anse St. Jose beach and in return visit St. Pierre Island.
- Lunch: Le Chevalier Bay Restaurant (vegetarian-friendly) or BBQ at curieuse island.
- Sunset at Anse Lazio, as it offers one of the best evening views.
- Dinner: Boat House Restaurant (buffet with vegetarian options). Or at hotel
Day 3: Praslin – Vallée de Mai & Coco de Mer
- Check out from hotel and Visit Vallée de Mai (UNESCO site, home to Coco de Mer, €25 entry). Recommended to take guide.
- Short hike within the reserve to see unique flora and wildlife. – Optional
- With car explore the road drive of Praslin, see beach sore, beautiful, amazing views – aprrox 1-2 hours.
- Check in Colibri Guest house.
- Lunch: Café des Art or Les Lauriers (vegetarian-friendly Creole buffet).
- After Lunch Relax at pool and enjoy the property.
- Optional Sunset at Anse Volbert, a calm and scenic beach.
- Dinner: Pirogue Restaurant (vegetarian Creole dishes) or at hotel, they have romantic set up.
Day 4: Transfer to La Digue & Island Exploration
- Morning ferry to La Digue (~15 mins, ~€15).
- Rent a bicycle (~€10/day) to explore the island.
- Visit Anse Source d’Argent, the most photographed beach in the world (€8 entry at L’Union Estate).
- Do Glass kayaking and/or snorkelling.
- See giant tortoises at L’Union Estate.
- Relax at Petite Anse beach or Anse Marron beach.
- Sunset at Anse Source d’Argent, where the granite boulders create stunning views.
- Hotel: Rising Sun guesthouse
- Dinner: Rey & Josh Cafe (affordable vegetarian meals). or at hotel.
Day 5: La Digue – Anse Cocos & Snorkelling
- Go to Grand Anse early morning for amazing sunrise.
- Optional – Hike to Anse Cocos, a secluded paradise.
- Lunch: The Nest (vegetarian options).
- Explore more hidden beaches or enjoy cycling around La Digue – recommended.
- Optional – Can go for 3-hour boat trip to snorkelling, another islands, if u r good in swimming.
- Sunset at Anse Severe, a peaceful and picturesque location.
- Dinner: Street food stalls (vegetarian snacks like samosas and chapati or gala’s takeaway.
Day 6: La Digue to Mahé & Victoria Tour
- Morning ferry to Praslin, then Mahé (~€65 total).
- Explore Victoria, the smallest capital in the world:
- Victoria Market (local produce, spices, souvenirs).
- The Clock Tower & Hindu Temple (iconic landmarks).
- Lunch: The Maharajas (Indian vegetarian thali).
- Visit Beau Vallon Beach for a relaxing evening. – wonderful beach and sunset
- Sunset at Beau Vallon, one of the best spots for a stunning view.
- Hotel: Romance bunglows
- Dinner: Baobab Pizzeria (great vegetarian pizzas). – Best place
Day 7: Mahé – Hiking, activity & beach.
- Morning hike to Morne Blanc or Coppelia Trail or Anse major for breathtaking panoramic island views.
- Visit Takamaka Rum Distillery for a free tasting session.
- Take a glass-bottom boat tour & snorkelling trip to Sainte Anne Marine Park (~€60-€80). – optional
- Lunch: Chilli Bar (affordable vegetarian options).
- Optional – semi submarine activity – recommended for kids.
- Spend the afternoon at Anse Royale Beach or Anse Intendance.
- Sunset at Anse Intendance, a less crowded yet stunning beach.
- Dinner: wooden house café near to hotel or Boat House Restaurant (buffet with vegetarian options).
Day 8: Departure
- Relax and enjoy a leisurely breakfast.
- Visit Victoria town for last-minute shopping or a beach walk at glacis or carana beach.
- Head to the airport for your 3:40 PM flight.
This itinerary ensures a perfect sunset experience daily while covering all major activities in Praslin, La Digue, and Mahé.
